About PowerDeck Lab
Portable power & off-grid solar, sized by data — and every figure traceable to a source, a version and a date.
What PowerDeck Lab does
PowerDeck Lab helps you answer practical questions before you buy: how long will a station run your CPAP or your 12V compressor fridge, and what size solar generator does your 30 A RV actually need? We publish runtime and solar sizing calculators plus scenario guides for portable power stations.
How the data works
Every data point on this site follows the same chain: source → version → date → display.
- Versioned database. Power figures and station specs live in a versioned data layer (currently v0.2.0, updated 2026-08-09). Any change is recorded in the changelog with its source.
- Official-label calibration. Device power figures come from device official labels (for example ResMed official typical consumption for CPAP, Dometic official specs for 12V compressor fridges). Generic appliances without a single official figure are explicitly marked illustrative.
- Source-linked discrepancy table. Where search results conflict on a spec or price, we show the conflicting claims, the official source, and our conclusion — in a table you can audit.
- Recurring audits. Monthly price spot-checks and quarterly spec audits against brand official pages.
What we don't claim
We do not self-estimate device power figures, and we do not publish test results we haven't performed. Derived figures are labeled as calculated from official published specifications. This site is informational and is not medical advice — CPAP guidance is not a substitute for professional medical guidance.
